Spring Break in the Philippines
We had a five day weekend and jumped on the opportunity to travel, since, you know... we are leaving soon. Unless we manufacture a long weekend with unused sick days (which we will hopefully do), this is our last chance to get out. We booked tickets to Manila, talked with some coworkers who previously lived in the Philippines and built a trip to the tropical island of Cebu. It was quite a hike and we basically traveled all day on Saturday, but it was worth it.
Our first stop was Badian Island Wellness Resort. Ash found it and thats where we went. We had to take a boat to get there. It was nice. Here are some pics.

We planned for a half day in Manila to explore the Intermuros area before dragging our butts back to China. Obviously the history is deep. Perfect weekend getaway... beach and history!
