Huangpu Mountains and Wilderness

Happy Lunar New Year of the Tiger! Another Holiday is upon us and unfortunately it is one of the WORST times to travel in China. Not just because of CoVid (which makes things a TON more difficult) and winter, but because everyone in the entire country is moving around. The CNY travel is often dubbed, the World's Largest Yearly Migration. Not fun, there are A LOT of people in China (Did you know that?) Anyway, we are staying put; relaxing and getting outdoors as much as possible. Here are some pics from some recent hikes.

Sidenote: This post is mostly filled with pictures of the girls showing off wildlife they have found in the wilderness. Lea was especially interested in if G-Bob would like all the different leaves she thought were cool. My resounding answer was YES, OF COURSE HE WOULD! Enjoy.

Fire Flowers

Strange Foreign Plants

Panoramic View from the Top of Bull Head Mountain

Would G-Bob like this leaf?

They found a fruit of some kind

A hotel maybe?

Shells and Flowers. "Would G-Jo think this flower or me is more pretty?" -Lea

Take a picture!

G-Bob would like these flowers

Look at the colors on this leaf!

Clear Day (11 AGI!)

Young Adventurers (Lea and Cora Zissou!)

The 1100 foot elevation, 3 mile hike was surprisingly easy for them both. Especially Cora... she might be a trail runner someday too!

GZ Backdrop

Snack spot and... of course we made a friend

This is a cool leaf right?

She loves hiking!

We love and miss everyone!

One more week off then back to the mines! Keep an eye for a major dump (X-Mas, Real New Year and Lunar New Year). I will make sure I get one up before the end of the break! See you soon.
