Macau- China National Holiday 2022

Hey everyone. We have a lot to share over the last few months since our big cross-China summer trip, but I am just going to post on our last four days. About three weeks ago the Special Administrative Region of Macau, which has been open to Chinese citizens for over a year, finally announced that the borders on the mainland side would open to foreigners as well. A couple of coworkers went and mentioned that they stamp your passport at the border, you use different currencies (HKD & MOP), there's no need for a VPN and everyone speaks English. We were convinced, we took a chance for ASHLEY'S B-DAY and left straight after school at the start of the Chinese National Holiday break. Crossing the border was smooth, with an additional 4 or 5 checkpoints for foreigners. Everyone got to look at our passports, but we are used to that kind of special VIP treatment now. Once we got through, it felt really nice, we had a blast. Here are some of the stills... I also have to warn you, we really felt like we weren't in China anymore and I got a little artsy (It's been two years)...
