Spring/ Summer 2022 Update

YO! Sorry I haven't posted for a while. CoVid has China shaking in it's boots. We have been through a lot here (not as much as other places, like Shanghai) and have not been able to travel much. We are being tested AT LEAST twice a week and told not to travel outside our province... or city... or district. We follow when things are serious, but we have to explore. We didn't come here to stay in one place. This set of photos represents the last 3 months in Guangzhou. We did get out to Yangshuo over the Dragon Boat Festival, but not without drama... here we go.

Lea had a piece of art chosen to represent our school in a gallery walk. She was/ is so proud it... we all are

There are some really talented people at our school.

All red everything

Majong time. We wouldn't dare play with these cutthroats.

Birthday parties still happen.

We were able to squeeze a volleyball tournament in. We actually got a good amount of games and ended the season 6-5.

Of course there was an accident on the line of our train pretty far west so naturally they cancelled all the trains back to Guangzhou on Sunday. We ended up having to take a 9 hour bus ride. Not pretty. We made.

Lea did great.

One more year and we will be back stateside! We are going to make the most out of these last 12 months... We love and miss you all!
