Faculty & Graduation Pics

We take pictures. Mostly with random people, but sometimes we get to take them with people we know. Both of these were federal cases, but I thought yall might like to see some of the people we work with...

We never really know what to wear. They say 'dress nice' and we still look out of place. Oh well. I sure do clean up well dont I?

Welcome Parties

Every year, each department has a 'Welcome Party.' Student's dance, sing, act, or whatever their hearts desire on stage with a microphone in front of a lot of people. We always have to go and sit in the front middle... I posted pictures of last years, which was ridiculous. This years were different because I know so many more people, but still ridiculous. One year makes a big difference, hard to believe this will be our last one...

Here are the pics. I attended two Welcome Parties, the Luzhou Vocational and Technical Department Foreign Language Department's and the Qinghai Normal University student's as well. They were very different, but here are pics from both... if you want to know any more, let me know. The first is for Luzhou's College.
Some students all dressed up before the production
Reciting Mao poetry

All the teachers sang Jingle Bells and Ol Lang Zine...

Year 2 Class 2 singing Edel Wiess

Some retired teachers did a couple of dance/skit things. Here is the grand finale pose...
the rising sun to the east is red...
We had fun

Next is the Qinghai Normal University Welcome Party. Totally different culture... Night and day (literally). Here are two pictures of the hosts from both schools. Shall we make a Venn Diagram? ha, sorry, teacher me.

Qinghai Normal University Student Hosts. Actually, the two on the left spoke traditional Tibetan while the two on the right spoke standard Mandarin.
