HI! from Chicago!

This may seem silly, but it is a long story and I am not going to explain the entire thing. But this classroom was destroyed (desks scattered everywhere) and I teach in here first period so I am the first teacher that has to deal with the chaos from the day before. There are always a couple of students waiting for me to unlock the door in the morning and just kinda hang out while I get the room set up for the day. So since the desks were so bad on this particular day, we decided to make the desks say HI! I know, we are dorks but we had fun with it :) I hope you enjoy these pictures because I do.
HI! I am a dorky teacher... ps.. dont mind that paper cutter hanging off the table. This room is mainly an Art room so the teacher always leaves it out... I am surprised none of my students have lost any fingers with it... I always try and hide it before class starts.

Here are two of my angel students that set the room up. We had fun :)

HI!!!
The class working. It is not crowded because it is first period and students have a very hard time making it for that class. Also, there is an exclaimation point to the right that we could not fit into the picture that had some students sitting at it.

I MISS ALL OF YOU AND HOPE EVERYONE IS DOING WELL!!!

assorted school pics...

Roberto Clemente's two sons, the chaplain for the white sox, and the Coach for Army's baseball team came to give a speech at GPHS. Here is them with our baseball team.
Here they are giving a speech to the team. They held a practice demo thing which was really awesome.

Another shot. The one on the left is Luis Clemente, the one on the right is Roberto Clemente Jr.

A bar-b-que we had for our Peace Cafe club. Spring time is FINALLY here.

Boys Volleyball team.

Here I am with our students that advanced to the finals of the CPS Science Fair. The finals were at the museum of science and industry. I had two in class so I thought I would go and show some support...
